Untitled: Poems about Hurricane Harvey from Harris County Jail

The poems in this film were composed by the men of the Freedom Project unit in the Harris County Jail in Houston during October and November of 2018. The poems were written during poetry workshops organized by the literary arts nonprofit organization, Inprint, under the leadership of writer Kaj Tanaka, and in collaboration with Jennifer Herring at Harris County Jail. Original music for the film is provided by Mitchell Collins. Cuyler Ballenger is a video artist and documentary film-maker. He lives in Houston.
